Lexi Jarrett

A Cross County High School student was selected by the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) to join its 2022-2023 class of  Big Red Stores Student Advisory Council.

Cross County Junior Lexi Jarrett will represent AAA Activity District 6.

The council consists of nine students, one from each of the AAA’s activity districts, with a wide range of athletic and activity involvements. Students sent in applications that also included a letter of recommendation from a school administrator.

“Lexi is a perfect fit for the role,” says Cody Goulart, head football coach and athletic director for Cross County High School. “With her work at Cross County as a part of the live-stream program, she is heavily involved with not just one, but every activity offered in the district. She has notable experience outside of the school district, which makes me even more confident in her role on the council.”

Lexi Jarrett, who will be starting her fourth year of providing play-by-play commentary for the school district, says that she is excited and thankful for this opportunity.

“The council consists of eight other students from across the state, each with their own phenomenal resume,” said Lexi. “Getting the chance to not only meet, but work with this great group of students is something I cannot wait to do, and I am so thankful to be chosen for this role.”

Lexi is the daughter of Tim and Natalie Jarrett of Wynne, and the late Amy Jarrett.

AAA Activity District 6 includes schools located in  Arkansas, Cross, Lee, Monroe, Phillips, Prairie, and St. Francis Counties.
