The Elementary Character Council organized a scavenger egg hunt for our Kindergarten classes! Each destination of the hunt focused on one of our core values and creatures of character. We had a blast!

March Board Update!

Our students recently competed in the Daughters of the American Revolution's annual essay contest. Maggie McCammon was named honorable mention for sixth grade. Dylan Spencer, Kaycen Wilson, and Dalton McKenzie also submitted essays to the contest with Dylan winning third place in the seventh grade category. Congratulations to all of our students who wrote essays and worked so hard on this! #thecounty #ExcellenceInAction

Mrs. Decker has passed the Thunderbird Trophy to Mrs. Ashlee Woodard. Mrs. Decker told Mrs. Ashlee that she was so thankful for her warm and inviting personality and making her feel welcomed when she first came to Cross County. Congratulations Mrs. Ashlee! Thank you to everyone who donated towards our "Share the Love" celebration! It was a simple joy to help put some smiles on residents faces at River Ridge Rehab and Care Center in Wynne. A big thanks too goes to Marchell, their activity director, for leading us around!

Parent Teacher Conferences for both the elementary and high school will be held on Thursday, February 15th from 2:30-7:00 PM! Reminder: School will be dismissed at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 15th to prepare for Conferences.

Josh Franklin, Dawson Andrews and Landan Rodriguez were at the state capitol today representing our Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) program which received the Highest Achievement Award from the Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Association of Alternative Educators for their growth in their ACT Aspire scores last year. Congratulations to all our ALE students on their hard work!
