Cherry Valley, AR - Cross County School District on Friday announced the hiring of High School Principal Stephen Prince as the new Master Teacher of Novice Teacher Induction. Mr. Prince will bring years of experience to the new position, having served as high school principal for eight and a half years and was previously the principal of the Elementary School for six years.
In his almost decade long tenure at the high school, Mr. Prince has demonstrated exemplary leadership, fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring the success of both students and teachers. His deep understanding of the educational landscape, combined with a proven track record of implementing successful initiatives, uniquely positions him for this new role.
As the Master Teacher of Novice Teacher Induction, Mr. Prince will leverage his wealth of administrative experience to guide novice teachers through the early stages of their careers. He will draw upon insights gained from his leadership roles in both the high school and elementary settings to tailor mentorship programs that address the unique challenges faced by teachers at different stages of their career.
“We are beyond excited to be able to have someone with Mr. Prince’s expertise supporting novice teachers full-time on a daily basis,” said Superintendent Dr. Nathan Morris. “His experience as a gifted teacher and time as principal will be an invaluable asset to novice teachers.”
Mr. Prince told staff members he is excited to be in this new role.
“I am excited about this new opportunity and the work this new role will entail,” said Mr. Prince. “This role will give me the opportunity to support teachers more strategically and help our school grow to new heights.”
