National School Counseling Week

From February 7 to February 11, 2023, Cross County School District will be celebrating National School Counseling Week and recognizing the outstanding work of our school counselors. These committed individuals have a significant impact on the lives of our students by offering assistance and direction in a variety of areas, including academic planning, personal and social growth, and career planning.

Our school counselors are advocates for our students, not simply teachers. They support a supportive school environment and a feeling of community by assisting students in navigating the opportunities and challenges of school life. Their dedication to our students' development and welfare is unrivaled, and we are appreciative of everything they do.

Elementary Principal Jessica Stacy expressed her appreciation, saying "We are so thankful at CCETA for our wonderful school counselor, Mrs. Carly Owens. She goes above and beyond in her duties all while keeping what is best for kids at the center of everything she does."

High School Principal Stephen Prince echoed Mrs. Stacy.

"At Cross County School District, we are proud to celebrate the incredible work of our school counselors during National School Counselors Week," said Prince. "Mrs. Susan Morgan makes a difference in the lives of our students every day, and we are honored to have her as part of our team."

In honor of National School Counselors Week, we encourage all members of the Cross County community to join us in celebrating and showing appreciation for our amazing school counselors. Let's take the time to express our gratitude and acknowledge their hard work and dedication.
