Jemar Clark

CHERRY VALLEY, AR – The Cross County School District is thrilled to announce the hiring of Jemar Clark as the new Assistant Football Coach. Clark will take on the roles of Offensive and Defensive Line Coach and will also teach social studies.

A graduate of McCrory High School, Clark furthered his education at Arkansas State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2016. During his time at Arkansas State, he distinguished himself as a three-year Letterman before advancing to play professionally for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Currently residing in Jonesboro, Clark brings with him a wealth of experience both on and off the field. He is passionate about the outdoors, traveling, working out, and spending quality time with loved ones. His commitment to excellence is evident in his approach to both coaching and teaching.

Clark is eager to connect with students, parents, and the broader community.

“Parents can expect my all, both in and out of the classroom,” said Clark.  “I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and being an integral part of this community.”

Clark’s enthusiasm for his new role is evident, as he expresses his excitement about embracing the Thunderbird tradition and striving for success.

“I am most excited about learning the tradition of being a Thunderbird, getting to know my students, and winning a lot of ball games,” he said.

The Cross County School District is confident that Clark’s expertise, dedication, and positive energy will greatly benefit our students and athletic programs. We warmly welcome Jemar Clark and look forward to a successful season ahead.
