We are excited to begin school in-person this Fall and look forward to seeing our students on-campus! After your strong responses from our parent survey in May, we learned that you appreciate our frequent communication and hope you continue to engage with us as we ramp up our updates on school reopening. To start, please fill out this survey by Friday, June 26th about the 2020-2021 school year. A few years ago, Cross County School District began providing all students with free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and the USDA. Since we applied for CEP, our families are eligible for this free support through Pandemic SNAP! We care about our students and their families and are grateful to be a small part of this relief program—according to DHS, you should receive your EBT card late this month. Cross County High School is excited to announce the arrival of letterman jackets and senior blankets! You may come by the high school and pick those up anytime Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30.

Parents of student athletes: All students participating in sports and cheer at Cross County School District must have a current physical in order to participate in the 2020-2021 season. ARcare will be providing free physicals on the following dates: 3rd-6th grade: June 2-4 7th-12th grade: June 9-11 Forms to be completed will be available at each campus to complete prior to your appointment. Please call ARcare at 870-442-2040 to make your appointment!

Parents and students, Computers, library books, and classroom books will need to be returned to the school for grades K-12. Mrs. Karen will be set up from 8:30-3:30 Friday by the gym to collect items. After that, please bring those to the school as soon as possible. A message for Seniors and Senior Parents: Individual graduation ceremonies are this week! As a reminder, in order to receive your diploma you MUST turn in your computers/chargers, turn in any jerseys/uniforms, and pay any fines, dues, or outstanding charges. Please call the office with questions.

Seniors,  The time is nearing for your individual graduations next week. If you have not made your appointment, please call us to do so. As you prepare for your day, please take note of a few expectations:  1. Please wear slacks, khakis, or dresses, but no jeans.  2. Please wear dress shoes. If you wear boots, please be sure they are clean.  3. You may need to steam your gown.  4. Make sure all dues, fines, or charges are paid before receiving your diploma.   5. Be sure to turn in your computer, jerseys, and uniforms before receiving your diploma.  We want next week to be special for each of you and we are excited to get to see everyone. There is a box outside the main entrance door of the high school for AMI work drop off. You can send a picture of completed work to your child's teacher, leave the completed work for your bus driver during food delivery, or drop the work off in the tub at your convenience.

Attention Elementary Parents

Any high school band students that do not have their instrument at home are encouraged to come to the the HS Band room this Thursday between 11am to 12pm to pick it up.

Attention seniors: Josten's will be here next Wednesday, April 8, 2020 to handout graduation supplies from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This will be a drive-up and pick-up process in the high school parking lot. For balance inquiries, please call the high school office at 870-588-3337.
