3rd-6th grade PeeWee Thunderbird Cheer sign ups will be next Thursday, August 20, from 5:00-6:30 pm in-front of the Thunderbird football stadium! Please have a copy of your child’s up to date physical. If they had their physical at ArCare you do not need to bring it as it's already on file. Signups is for PARENTS ONLY. Please send ONE parent from your household as we are trying to do our part in limiting crowds. Masks will be required at all times! Open House for K, 7th, and new students is next week!

Please take note of the required immunizations needed for school.

Open House for Kindergarten students, 7th grade students, and all new students to the district will be Tuesday, August 18th, from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM. Masks will be required upon entrance and throughout Open House. If possible, please limit attendance to parents and the student.

High School schedules can be picked up today from 8:00-4:00 outside of the gym entrance! Masks will be required. We can't wait to see you there!

Reminder: High school students may pick up their class schedules Monday, August 10th from 8:00AM-4:00PM by the gym entrance. We will also ask parents to complete registration updates and back-to-school packets. We can't wait to see everyone!

We are excited to begin school in-person this Fall and look forward to seeing our students on-campus! After your strong responses from our parent survey in May, we learned that you appreciate our frequent communication and hope you continue to engage with us as we ramp up our updates on school reopening. A few years ago, Cross County School District began providing all students with free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and the USDA. Since we applied for CEP, our families are eligible for this free support through Pandemic SNAP! We care about our students and their families and are grateful to be a small part of this relief program—according to DHS, you should receive your EBT card late this month. Cross County High School is excited to announce the arrival of letterman jackets and senior blankets! You may come by the high school and pick those up anytime Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30.

Parents of student athletes: All students participating in sports and cheer at Cross County School District must have a current physical in order to participate in the 2020-2021 season. ARcare will be providing free physicals on the following dates: 3rd-6th grade: June 2-4 7th-12th grade: June 9-11 Forms to be completed will be available at each campus to complete prior to your appointment. Please call ARcare at 870-442-2040 to make your appointment!

Parents and students, Computers, library books, and classroom books will need to be returned to the school for grades K-12. Mrs. Karen will be set up from 8:30-3:30 Friday by the gym to collect items. After that, please bring those to the school as soon as possible. Getting these items in quickly will aid us in preparing for the new school year. If you have questions, please call us at 870-588-3337.
