Help us congratulate Caleb and Harley on being selected as CCHS’s “Be Excellent” winners today!

We’re ready to get into the Christmas spirit!!! School dress up days are starting the day we get back from Thanksgiving Break, November 28th!!!!

Mrs. Kara’s 8th grade Career Development class went back to Kindergarten! The high schoolers wrote and printed their OWN books on decision making and read them aloud to the students. Our Kindergarten loved the stories! Who knows what future authors we might see spring from this?!

The Thunderbirds Against Drugs (TAD) team attended the Project Prevent Conference recently and our very own Officer Owens attended! Great students make great schools! For more information on Project Prevent check out their site https://projectpreventar.org/what-we-do/annual-conference.html

RESPECT!
Our friends Landree and Maverick kicked off our new value of focus- Respect! We will learn and practice how to treat others the way we want to be treated. Respecting others shows we care about them…even when it’s difficult, we will rise above and show we care!

Congrats to Jill and Alexis, our first two “Be Excellent Challenge” winners for this school year!

Tonight’s 9th and 10th grade parent night was a success! We want to thank our amazing parents and awesome students for coming out tonight!

Another T-Bird that makes us proud!

Great tour of UCA with a great group of 9th graders! #tbirdlife #collegebound #uca

Today was a BLAST at CCETA! What a fun way to kick off the Halloween Weekend!

Check out our compassionate friends!

Mrs.Karen’s been teaching our 4th graders about Van Gogh and his love for sunflowers. He painted 11 paintings of this flower because it reminded him to have gratitude. The class then shared things that made them grateful. What a lovely challenge! What are you grateful for today?

Jax and Ava are our weekly winners! Whether it’s lending a jacket to a friend whose cold or helping someone tie their shoes…no kind act is too small, and no effort is wasted when we intentionally seek ways to show COMPASSION!

Did you know October is National Bully Prevention Month? We want everyone to know they are loved and have an important place here at CCETA. One of our kinder friends said it best, “We’re all T-Bird friends here!”

Cross County FFA officers, earned volunteer hours as well as some team building skills today! They volunteered to work the first day of the first ever, Arkansas Cattlemen Association Grill! They served breakfast then moved into lunch! Great group of kids and they had a great day!

New month = new character trait!
