In addition to our students, families, and staff, the safety of our alumni is also a top priority. Our school district is a member of the Delta College Attainment Network (DCAN) dedicated to supporting our students to and through college. As some colleges are choosing to close down campuses as a precaution against COVID-19, our DCAN Alumni Advisors are prepared to support our alumni with move-out, transportation, and any academic issues that may arise. If you or someone you know needs assistance navigating a college campus closure, please reach out asap to David Rhoades, DCAN College Persistence Manager at 870-714-0701.

To recognize the important job of a school counselor, Governor Asa Hutchinson has proclaimed February 3rd through February 7th, 2020 as National School Counseling Week in Arkansas. CCSD would like to take this opportunity to recognize our two outstanding school counselors for their dedication to our students. Mrs. Susan Morgan, high school counselor with 18 years in education, and Mrs. Carol Crow, elementary counselor with 31 years in education, both prove everyday that they are here for our students. We could not ask for two better people for the job. Thank you for all you do!
