Tuesday is a big day at Cross County School District! 📸 It's Picture Day, we've got a home golf match, and both our Jr. High and Senior High teams have a football scrimmage. Go Thunderbirds!

🌟 Welcome to Our New Teacher, Christina Jarrett! 🌟
We are excited to introduce Christina Jarrett as our new 7th grade math and high school math interventions teacher! Christina graduated from Arkansas State in May with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies. She has supported members of TAD by traveling with student representatives to Washington D.C.
Currently living in Hickory Ridge, Christina has been married for 15 years and has 5 children and 5 grandchildren. She loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family. Passionate about helping all students learn and become the best versions of themselves, Christina is looking forward to her new role and making a greater impact on students.
Having been a Thunderbird since 2006 when she moved to Cross County and her children became students, Christina has loved being part of this great family. She is excited to further her role in the Thunderbird Family and continue contributing to our wonderful community.

🌟 Welcome to Our New 2nd Grade Teacher, Lisa Paschal! 🌟
We are thrilled to introduce Lisa Paschal as our new 2nd grade teacher at Cross County Elementary! Mrs. Lisa graduated from Brinkley High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She has been the wife of football coach Van for 39 years, and together they have 5 children: Tyler, Hope, Hannah, Becca, and Rachel.
Lisa loves painting, crafts, cooking, and taking care of her 2 dogs. She is passionate about teaching reading and connecting with young children. Her favorite sport is football, her favorite color is pink, and her favorite snacks are chocolate and Dr. Pepper. Excited for football season, Lisa looks forward to winning lots of games and meeting her new students.
She is very excited to be a Thunderbird and is eager to support Cross County Schools. Join us in welcoming Lisa to our community and wishing her an amazing year ahead! 🎉📚🏈
