To recognize the important job of a school counselor, Governor Asa Hutchinson has proclaimed February 1st through February 5th, 2021 as National School Counseling Week in Arkansas! Cross County School District would like to take this opportunity to recognize our two outstanding school counselors for their dedication to our students. Mrs. Susan Morgan, high school counselor with 19 years in education, and Mrs. Carol Crow, elementary counselor with 32 years in education, both prove everyday that they are here for our students. We could not ask for two better people for the job. Thank you for all you do! #thankacounselor #proudTBirds

We hope your Thanksgiving Break has been restful and fulfilling! As we return to school this week, we want to remind you to screen your student for any signs of illness each morning. Things to look for include: Fever of 100.4 or higher, sore throat, new uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (for those with chronic allergic/ asthmatic cough, a change in your cough from baseline), and new onset of severe headache, especially with a fever. If your student has any indicator of illness, please keep your student at home to minimize the risk of spreading illness to others. If you believe your student has been exposed to COVID-19 during Thanksgiving Break, please call us so we can assist you. Let’s finish this semester strong!
