⛳️ Today’s golf match at West Memphis has been canceled due to rain. The match has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 11. 💙🩶
Get ready for an exciting game day! Kick off at 5:15 PM with the 7th grade football team taking the field, followed by the Jr. High game at 6:30 PM. It’s a home game against Harrisburg, and you won’t want to miss the action! We are grateful for the generosity of Mallory Hardwick and Gibson Wilson with MTI, who donated $250 to our Cross County FFA yesterday. 🌱💙 MTI recently completed the greenhouse remodeling project, and their continued support helps our students grow both in and out of the classroom. 🚨 Thunderbird Trophy Update 🚨
Mr. Jerry Buchanan has passed the Thunderbird Trophy to Mr. Cody Goulart!
Jerry shared how much he appreciated everything Mr. Goulart did to help him over the summer. In a small school like ours, everybody pitches in—and Mr. Goulart is a great example of stepping up and doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

Mrs. Morris is a proud graduate of Prairie Grove High School and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. She now calls Cherry Valley home, where she lives with her husband, Dr. Nathan Morris, and their twin children, Cambree and Cooper.
When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys watching her kids’ sports, cheering on the Thunderbirds and Razorbacks, hiking, and reading.
She shares, “I have always had a heart for children with special needs. I will love each one of them, but we will set expectations, strive for their highest potential, and have fun doing it!” This year, she is looking forward to developing deeper relationships within the school community.
Mrs. Morris is extra excited to be a Thunderbird because it means she gets to join the rest of her family in wearing blue and silver with pride. 💙🤍

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at CCETA! Please take time to review the traffic flow map picture before tomorrow. Parents are welcome to walk students in tomorrow morning, but after tomorrow morning students will need to ride the bus or be dropped off in the car rider line. Please drive through the car rider line in the mornings and afternoons to pick up students instead of walking up to the line.
