With winter weather in the forecast, we are prioritizing the safety of our students and staff. Based on the current information, Cross County School District will dismiss early at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18. However, if the weather moves in faster than expected, dismissal may be earlier.
We appreciate your flexibility and support in making arrangements. Please stay tuned to our social media pages for any further updates.

📢 Reminder for Cross County Families! 📢
Tomorrow will be a 2:00 PM dismissal for all students to allow time for Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will be held from 2:30 – 7:00 PM.
This is a great opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, discuss their progress, and set goals for the rest of the school year. We encourage all parents and guardians to attend!

The University of Arkansas Dept. of Ag came to the elementary last week to host our annual "Farm To You"! High school students took the lead and presented a variety of interactive simulations to help our students understand the need for making healthy choices!

Our Office of Support Services is hosting a meeting for parents and students who:

✅ Have a child who previously had an IEP in a public school setting
✅ Are currently homeschooling
This meeting will provide information about possible services your child may receive through a service plan. If you suspect your child may qualify, we encourage you to attend.

🚨 January 13, 2025, Update 🚨
Cross County School District will start one hour late tomorrow.
Additionally, there will be temporary changes to our bus routes as follows:
-Bus 31 - Mr. Andrew (Kelley’s Route) - Three stops east of County Road 353 on Hwy 364 will meet at Vanndale City Park at 7:55am. The remainder of the stops will be one hour late.
-Bus 32 - Mr. Jerry: Highway 163 - 7:48; Highway 364 - 7:53; Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for all stops along CR 331, CR 333, CR 344 - 7:55; Highway 42 East and CR 333 - 8:05; All in town routes will be one hour later than usual.
-Bus 34 - Ms. Sue/Mr. Busby: Highway 75 - one hour late; Parkin City Hall - one hour late; Levesque - one hour late; Bus will not travel CR 365 but will pick up at the end of CR 365 and CR 368 - one hour late; Rest of route one hour late.
-Bus 53 - Mrs. Elaine: Hydrick Baptist Church - 7:40; Bay Village Store - 8:05; Remainder of stops one hour late.
-Bus 1 - Mrs. Dana Hill, Bus 20 - Caldwell, Bus 30 - Ms. Dana Deason, and Bus 33 Mrs. Christina will run the normal routes, and stops will be one hour late.
